Times like this I wish I took creative writing seriously back in college
My tale begins in a rough neighborhood of lower Manhattan, NYC. Living in a pre-war walk-up apartment built in 1917 with questionable structural safety and murky tap water. My grandparents stepping up as my guardian for majority of my youth. By the graces of luck and generous motivating people, I managed to get my shit together and leave the neighborhood to further my education in Toronto, Canada. The result of this gave me skills and the confidence to build and lead today.
