Canna is a data management company in the Cannabis space. Their technology specifically targets dispensaries in using consumer data to algorithmically project production cycles and buying habits. Their display platform as well automates the purchase process.
In late 2017, I was consulting for Canna in POC development and developing a fundraising pitch program. After seeing the momentum, the product result, and developing a positive rapport with the founding members – I was presented with an opportunity to invest into their first ever product – Serv.
October 2, 2018 – Update
The Canna team raised the $400,000 USD seed funding needed on top of my initial investment. The product team can now begin building the platform and marketing strategy.
July 4, 2019 – Update
Canna MVP product completed with meeting setup with Canopy Growth and Aurora. Exciting times!
December 20, 2019 – Update
It’s not the first time I’ve been faced with business adversity. The market took a hard turn for the worst and we are once again re-strategizing. Stay tuned.
