Overview

BlueTriton Brands is a major American beverage company known for its portfolio of well-known bottled water brands Their sustainability efforts in 2021 centered on three main areas: water stewardship, circular packaging, and climate action. The mission my team was aimed at was addressing the most significant criticisms the company faced and being a 'better water company.'

Objectives

  • Long-term goal to transition their electricity usage to renewable source
  • Set goals to increase the amount of recycled plastic (rPET) in bottles
  • Launched 'Made For A Better Tomorrow' recycling campaign
  • Promote water to homes and offices known as Readyrefresh service
  • Reduce emissions from our delivery fleet
  • Geologists and engineers monitored water levels and flows, adjusting collection rates to ensure the long-term health of the aquifers and surrounding ecosystems
  • Pursue and maintain Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) certification for bottling facilities
